Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EmailChat, operated by Jacob's Code. By using EmailChat, you agree to these Terms.
The service
EmailChat provides an email client that lets you read and send email through connected providers (such as Gmail and Microsoft 365) and platform addresses on domains you configure. Features may change as the product evolves.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and comply with applicable laws when using the service.
Connected email providers
When you connect Gmail or Microsoft, you authorize EmailChat to access your mailbox according to the permissions shown on the provider's consent screen. You may revoke that access at any time through your provider's account settings. EmailChat is not affiliated with Google or Microsoft.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use EmailChat to send spam, phishing, or unlawful content.
- Attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the service beyond normal use.
Disclaimer
EmailChat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, Jacob's Code is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using EmailChat at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the service or other users.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
